ROV Tooling Supervisor
Job Summary:
An ROV Tooling Supervisor is generally regarded as someone who can direct and lead personnel in order to achieve the outcomes of the work scope.
Due to the relatively small size of the team, the Tooling Supervisor must also be hands-on and capable of carrying out maintenance and operation tasks as required. It is for this reason that operational experience forms an important part of the criteria for this grade.
In practice there is some overlap between Tooling Supervisor, ROV Supervisor and Offshore Project Manager. It is not the intention of this programme to limit the technical activities undertaken by a Supervisor when they are clearly capable of undertaking some of the responsibilities of the OPM grade, at the discretion of the OPM and/or employer.
Entry Level Specifications:
- Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
- Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
- 180 days offshore experience at Senior Tooling Technician grade
- Minimum 48 months in the industry
