Senior Dive Technician (Electrical)
Job Summary:
A Senior Dive Technician (Electrical) is regarded as someone who is fully conversant with the electrical systems of diving equipment associated with subsea marine operations.
They can participate fully in the Dive Technical Team during operations and will report directly to the Dive Technician Supervisor when offshore.
The Senior Dive Technician (Electrical) is expected to take part in the competence assessment process and coach/mentor Dive Technicians.
Entry Level Specifications:
- Prior knowledge, skills and experience of electrical/electronic engineering gained through either:
- Trade qualification or
- Advanced academic education or
- Military training/qualification
- Extensive experience in previous employment
- Demonstrated competence including 300 logged days working as a Dive Technician (electrical) and completion of Dive Technician (electrical) competences
- Current and valid survival certificate
- Current and valid medical certificate
- Complete employing company familiarisation course
