Crew Competencies
Job Summary:
All deck crew are regarded as someone who is fully conversant in all deck and/or engineering activities associated with marine operations.
They can successfully participate in the deck team during operations and will report directly to the Marine Officer / Deck Foreman when offshore.
The crew is also expected to take part in the competence assessment process.
They may optionally hold competences as Riggers, Welders, Crane Operators or Able Seafarers
Entry Level Specifications:
- 3 years offshore experience relevant to discipline
- Current and valid survival certificate
- Current and valid medical certificate
- IMCA record of competence at Rigger, Crane Operator, Welder, Able Seafarer or equivalent level
