AUV Supervisor
Job Summary:
An AUV Supervisor is generally regarded as someone who can direct and lead personnel in order to achieve the outcomes of the work scope.
The Supervisor is also expected to coach colleagues in all aspects of sub-sea operations and maintenance. To this end, formal assessment qualifications are often required, and their ability to assess personnel is assessed in line with IMCA guidelines.
It is not the intention of this programme to limit the technical activities undertaken by an AUV Supervisor when they are clearly capable of undertaking some of the responsibilities of the ROV and Survey team, at the discretion of the Offshore Manager and/or employer.
Entry Level Specifications:
- Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
- Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
- Achieve 180 days offshore experience at AUV Engineer grade
- Have a minimum of 48 months in the industry
