Grade I Geotechnical Operator
Job Summary:
A Grade I Operator is regarded as someone who is experienced in many aspects of geotechnical systems operations.
They can successfully participate in the Survey Team during operations and will report directly to the Senior Survey Engineer.
The Grade I Operator is expected to coach and assess junior members of the Survey Project Team in line with the Competence Management Programme.
The Geotechnical Operator is responsible for the mobilisation, setup, maintenance and operations of all geotechnical systems.
Entry Level Specifications:
- Satisfactory completion of the competence criteria for Operator Grade II and be working towards Operator Grade I
- Nominally 75 days operational experience and 4 mobilisations as an Operator Grade II
- Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
- Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
