Grade I Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:

A Grade I Inspection Engineer is regarded as someone who is conversant with aspects of subsea Inspection operations and its processes.

They can successfully participate and contribute to the success of the Inspection Project Team during operations and will report directly to the Senior Inspection Engineer or Inspection Coordinator.

The Inspection Engineer is expected to participate within the Competence Management Programme.

Entry Level Specifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of the competence criteria for Graduate Inspection Engineer and be working towards Inspection Engineer.
  • Nominally 12 months experience, including 80 days operational experience as a Graduate Inspection Engineer.
  • Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed.
  • Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed.
  • Inspection Engineer Grade 1 - 100 operational days of Offshore Inspection Engineer experience.
  • Inspection Engineer Grade 2 - minimum 2 years relevant industrial, military, or academic experience.
  • Maintains an in date 3.4u CSWIP Inspection qualification.
